On a more personal level, it is no surprise that Cassi- dy is in all honors and AP classes and she has a 4.4 GPA. She likes spending time with her family, playing with her dogs and rabbit. Her favorite food is chicken carbonara. She is excited to go on a cruise to Jamaica in February 2020 for her Uncle Craig and Jessica’s wedding. Her parents have taught her to treat others how she wants to be treated, and to always stand up for others. Her favorite quotes are the ones her mom tells her every time to go out on the track, “You do YOU!” To
Cassidy that means do the best she can and to be herself. Her mother also tells her “Be your own hero.” To Cassidy that means to be the kind of person that she would look up to and others look up to.
Cassidy played with both dolls and cars as a kid. She would get so upset on Christ- mas Eve at her grand-
parents’ house because they would buy her cousins Matchbox cars or remote control cars and she would get a doll or some- thing girlie. “Of course I liked the doll but I really wanted the cars too.”
Cassidy’s favorite TV shows are Chicago Fire, Chica- go Med, Riverdale and All American. Her favorite holiday is Christmas. Something most people don’t know about her is that she is very shy until you get to know her, and then once
you do, she says she is a dorky book nerd, goofy, talks all the time, or just starts singing random songs out of nowhere.
Cassidy is in the 10th grade at Arvada High School in Arvada, CO. Her friends and teachers are very supportive of her racing and her classmates think it’s pretty cool, at least the ones that believe her!
Cassidy hopes to one day be an elementary teacher and to drive in any NASCAR series. When she is not racing she likes to hang out with her friends, go to the movies, jump on the trampoline, go to Six Flags Elitch Gardens and do normal kid stuff. If they made a movie of her life, she thinks either Becky G, Sarah Jeffery or Sofia Carson would be able to portray her personality the best.
Her favorite racecar drivers are Dale Earnhardt Jr (even though he’s retired) and Martin Truex Jr.
