It is sad that it took the insanity of 2020 for so many to appreciate the intrinsic value of empathy. Empathy is the ability to put oneself in others’ shoes and understand from their perspectives the struggles and adversity they are facing. It requires specific mental, emotional, and sometimes spiritual efforts. Some may have to work harder than others
to tap into empathy. The issues that face us today are the same that we have faced for centuries. The only difference now is that more people are committed to speaking up
