NASCAR TV ratings seeing big increase on their return to racing

NASCAR re-started its 2020 season at the historic Darlington Raceway in South Carolina.
The event was held without fans. 6.32 million people watched that race, and they’ve
continued to pull strong TV ratings across all three major touring series. NASCAR’s
schedule through the end of June and those races will run
           without fans.

Indycar series started its season this past Saturday night,
June 6th at Texas Motorspeedway. The race also ran
without fans and was broadcast live on NBC.
NASCAR & Indycar have their first-ever joint
event the weekend of July 4th in Indianapolis.
It’s set to be the first event to allow fans
back to the track—this pending local and
                        state approval.
