My name is Logan Connolly. I am 12 years old and it is my last year at WRPS.
These are some of my most memorable moments:
When I was standing up in front of Gilmore I remember
hearing my name being called out as Gilmore House Captain
for 2019. I really enjoyed helping out my kinder buddy at the
start of 2020. Going to Camp Koinonia in 2019 and Coffs
Harbour Adventure Centre in 2020 were really fun excursions
that I will always remember. I remember turning up to WRPS
in 2014 to meet my friends that I still hang out with today.
Laughing and hanging out with my mates will be one of my
greatest memories. I also remember the time the class was
having a discussion in year one and I put my hand up and Mr
Wheeler chose me but all I said was that I needed to go to the toilet.
These are some of my proudest moments:
I was proud to be in the SRC for 3 years and proud to be elected house captain to
cheer on the best house, Gilmore. I was also proud to represent WRPS and the
North Coast at zone and regional levels in basketball and swimming.
What I will miss:
I will miss the privileges that we get at WRPS like Gold Day,
dress-up days and SRC fundraisers. I will also miss our
sporting teams, public speaking opportunities and some of the
groups that I got to be a part of - choir, band, ukulele and the
debating team. I will definitely miss the little amount of
homework we get because next year there will be a LOT of
work to do! I will miss my friends Kalon, Riley, Ben, Hayden
and Max. I will also miss my mum and the great teachers I
have had over the past 7 years.
