BACKWELL CAMERA CLUB PARTNER
ASHTON & BACKWELL Utd FC

Backwell Camera Club has agreed to continue their community
partnership with local football club, Ashton and Backwell utd to meet
our community objectives, improve our sports photography and aid
Ashton and Backwell with their publicity material with high quality

images. This mutually beneficial association is now in its 5th season.
Following Jo Shepard’s decision to take a step back, Mike West, Peter
Kilpin and other members will be regular visitors to the Lancer Scott
stadium.
Images from games have appeared in the North Somerset Times,
Bristol Post, the football club website, twitter, facebook and the
Toolstation league website.
New club members are welcome. Backwell Camera Club has a

reputation for friendliness and our meetings are a mix of social and
photographic enlightenment. It is an active club and has varied
subjects at each meeting. We meet each Thursday at 7:30 in the WI
Hall near the Backwell traffic lights. Expensive camera kit or
experience is not a prerequisite, just the enthusiasm to improve your
photography.
Ashton & Backwell Utd play in the Premier division of the Toolstation

Western league at the Lancer Scott stadium, West town Rd,
Backwell, Saturday afternoon kick off 3pm.
Teas, coffees, hot food and bar open from 2pm. New volunteers and
