S-Tech Cambridgeshire League
Cardea Ladies stay one point clear in Division One after winning a high scoring match 10-4
against Fulbourn Institute Bluebirds. Emma Pollard netted six of the goals for Cardea, with
the others coming from Helen Buckingham, Courtney Coles, Georgie Elsom and Anna Langa.
Netherton Utd remain close at hand in second place as they made it five wins out of five,
Yasmin Green and Emily Johnson each bagging braces along with Leah Palmer, Katie Barber
and Dita Upesjure in their 7-0 victory over Leverington Sports.
One match was played in Division Two, where Brampton Ladies got themselves off
the mark by winning 4-2 against Mildenhall Town. Leigh Chatten and Nicolle Surtees each
netted doubles to fire Brampton towards their first victory, whilst Mildenhall’s replies also came
from a brace, by Lauren Deller.
In Division Three, Burwell Tigers stepped up their challenge by running out 4-0
winners over Haverhill Rovers Community, a result which leaves them in third, five points
behind leaders Peterborough Utd Foundation but with a game in hand. Isleham Utd
meanwhile triumphed 5-2 away to Chatteris Town Lilies, Rebekah Finch and Laura Todd
each netting twice along with Poppy Green.
Gloucestershire League
Pucklechurch Sports have narrowed the gap on leaders Olveston Utd to four points after
they defeated Longlevens 7-1. Adele Hooper led the scoring with a four-goal haul, Sophie
Sweet weighed in with a brace and Zoe Gunter was also on target, with Emma Levett replying.
Kate Michael scored twice along with Kylie Allen and Laura Tugwell as Longwell Green drew
4-4 with Bishop's Cleeve, for whom Lauren Cable and Isabelle Torrington each netted
doubles.
Just one point now covers the top four teams in Division Two, headed by Dursley
Town after they won 4-3 against Cheltenham Civil Service. Lucy Jones scored twice for
Dursley along with Gemma Butler and Sally Whitlock. Cirencester Town stepped up their
challenge by beating Ellwood Ladies 3-1, thanks to a goal apiece from Lucy Herbert, Anna
Toporkiewicz and Amy Bains. City of Gloucester meanwhile claimed their first victory and
points of the season, beating Red Falcon Club 1-0 with a goal from Beth Tovey.
Bradley Stoke have returned to the top of Division Three, heading a trio of teams
level on points, following their 7-0 victory over Stoke Lane Athletic. Emily Jacklin hit a
hat-trick, Natalie Lewis weighed in with a brace and there was one apiece from Jessica Taylor
and Laura Whitelegg. Bristol Ladies Union Development meanwhile moved into second
after an Erin Taylor brace and Polly Garton gave them a 3-0 win away to Olveston Utd Res.
Jordan Scowen scored the goal as Southmead Community Sport beat Downend Flyers
Res 1-0 and Tewkesbury Town were also 1-0 winners over Mitcheldean SC thanks to
Jordan Burrows.
Greater London League
Islington Borough stay two points clear at the top of the Premier Division following their 3-2
success away to Regents Park Rangers. Ornella Mbula scored twice and Abby Webster the
other for Islington, whilst Rangers replied with goals from Olivia Dalton-Hoffman and Abi
Sabin. Comets lifted themselves up into third place after a McKenna Doyle hat-trick and Elsa
Wu gave them a 4-2 success at Edgware Town. Bromley FC Ladies meanwhile kept
themselves in touch with the leading sides with a 3-0 victory over Sutton Utd U23, courtesy
of a goal apiece from Charlotte Lee, Abigail Igbavboa and Mary Robinson.
Sheffield & Hallamshire League
Most of the ties in the League Cup, postponed from the previous Sunday, managed to beat the
weather but two have to try again this Sunday - AFC Bentley v Handsworth and Kiveton
Park v Mexborough Athletic.
