Welcome......
Greetings everyone and welcome to the Big Local Stadium, in
particular the management and players of today’s visitors Swindon
Supermarine Development FC from the Uhlsport Hellenic League
Division Two for this Bluedin Sport League Challenge Cup First Round
tie. We should also welcome our Match Officials and hope they enjoy
their stay with us.
Last week’s exciting FA Vase tie against Western League Hallen was
an entertaining affair and resulted in a 2-2 draw. We finally managed
to prevail after a penalty shoot-out by the odd goal in seven and now
face another intriguing tie at home to Belper United from the Uhlsport
United Counties League Premier Division North.
Today we entertain Swindon Supermarine Development from the
Hellenic League Division Two in the League Cup. They are somewhat
an unknown quantity to us but we expect them to give us a stiff
examination this afternoon.
We hope you all enjoy today’s game, hopefully an entertaining one
with a positive result for us at the end, and will come again soon.
