Introducing Bishops Cleeve A.F.C.

Lewis Clayton – Last year’s managers player of the year. Part of this
season’s new leadership group. Excellent shot stopper and as good
as any keeper at this level.
Linden Dovey – Not that you’d know by looking at him, the team’s
veteran in his 5th season at the club. One of the few remaining
champs whose experience will be invaluable to those around him.
Rhys Bennett – Rhys has joined this summer from Evesham having
put a man of the match appearance against us last season. Left
footed to give us some much-needed balance.
Will Turner – Mr Dependable. Embarking on his 3rd season at the
club having originally joined on loan from Weston-Super-Mare. Will
play in just about every position across the season and barely say a
       word. Our very own ‘Trig’.
Jacob Geddes – No nonsense defending recently joined from
neighbours Slimbridge having also spent time at Tuffley Rovers and
Evesham. Old head on young shoulders.
Leroy Odiero – One of the few champs left who will be vital to any
success this season. Missed a lot of last season due to injury but the
locals will be looking forward to his size 13s kicking the ball out of
       play.
Blaine Waugh – Blaine remains for his 5th season at the club
having played for 15 different teams in preseason. Will play in a range
of positions if he arrives by kick off.
Will Emery – Will has eventually signed from local rivals Cinderford
after several failed attempts in signing him over the previous few
seasons. This rapid player is equally at home anywhere on the right-
       hand side of the pitch.
Jack Holmes – Jack has signed for his first full season having
initially joined the club last season on loan from Weston-Super-Mare.
Has previously struggled with injuries but will be a huge player for
the team with those hopefully behind him.
Callum Debonis – Local lad who has recently joined us from a local
league having scored lots of goals from midfield. Did play for the club
several years ago but now looking to step up again and has settled
into the group. A real character!
