Good afternoon and a very warm welcome to the AJN.
You join us today for our penultimate home game of the
season, and we are delighted to welcome the players,
coaching team, and supporters of Middlezoy Rovers for this
Toolstation Western League 1 match. The committee would
also like to welcome our officials for the game, referee Toby
Franklin and assistants Andrew Pearson & Colin Skyrme.
We took the trip down to Middlezoy for the reverse fixture on
Tuesday night and came out victors thanks to a goal apiece
from Joe Davis and Brad Selwood. Both were terrific goals
and a thoroughly deserved victory from a great team
       performance.
I would like to thank Jason and all the committee at
Middlezoy who made us very welcome, and the hospitality was superb. Hopefully we can
       reciprocate today!
The Western League announced this week that “Due to Toolstation taking their community
support in a different direction they have advised that their sponsorship of the Western
League will come to an end following the end of this season.
We have for many years enjoyed a wonderful working relationship that has enabled us to
support and reward our clubs on many levels as well as benefiting work behind the scenes
       at the League.”
On behalf of everyone at Keynsham Town, we place on record our thanks to Toolstation for
their support over the past 20 years and wish them well with their future sponsorship
       activities.
As I mentioned previously, on Sunday 12 May the club is having its first and hopefully
                                         th
annual Funday here at the AJN Stadium.
There will be games and mini tournaments from our Juniors and Girls sides from 10am when
the gates open and then in the afternoon and early evening the Seniors and Walking
Footballers will be on the pitch with 11 v 11 games. The bar will be open, and food and
drink will be available throughout the day along with various stall holders.

Admission is free but we will be collecting on the gate for our chosen Charity Muscular
Dystrophy, so put the date in your diary now and come and support the club in our first
       fundraising event.
We will have more information on our Funday and all the K’s news via our website and all
       our social media channels!

                                              st
Finally, a reminder that our AGM is being held on 1 May 2024 at 7.30pm at the AJN stadium,

Once again, thank you for your support and I look forward to seeing you at our last home
