Welcome

Good afternoon and welcome to The Field.

We extend a special warm welcome to the players, management and
supporters of Radstock Town FC, for this Toolstation Western League
First Division fixture. We hope they enjoy their short stay with us and have
a safe journey home tonight. We also offer our thanks to our Match Officials
for today and hope they enjoy the game.

Unfortunately, with last week’s visit of Cheddar having been postponed, our
last two outings have ended in defeats, laaving us hovering above the
relegation positions, but not in immediate danger. However, a couple more
wins would be very welcome just to ease some of the lingering doubts. A
3-1 defeat in our last home match against Hengrove Athletic was a setback
despite James Chenowewth’s goal, and the 4-1 defeat in our visit to
Portishead Town was again disappointing, particularly given the importance
       of the game.

Today we meet Radstock Town who are still harbouring outside ambitions
of promotion after another good season to date, and so another tough
       game is anticipated.

We hope you will enjoy the game and look forward to seeing you all again.

       Mike Blessing
