Gloucestershire League
Last season's beaten Gordon Perrett League Cup finalists Dursley Town are out of the
competition at the first attempt this time after they were beaten 3-0 by Longlevens. Hayley Pitt
scored two of the goals and Lauren Mills was also on target. Four Division One teams in total went
out to lower division opponents including Cheltenham Saracens who, despite a goal from
Sophie Vincent, went down 2-1 to Downend Flyers Res and goals from Vicky Mundy and Beth
Pitman. Daniella Eden and Beth Sullivan scored the goals as Cheltenham Civil Service defeated
Tuffley Rovers 2-0 and Red Falcon Women ran riot against Abbeymead Rovers, Harriet
Mason scoring four goals along with Claudia D'Angelo (2), Emily Hardaker (2), Alice Gregory (2),
Amber Chaffe, Annabel Fitzgerald and Tierney Harris.
Bristol & West were 4-1 winners over Gloucester City in arguably the tie of the round,
Aimee Clark and Emma Bowden each scoring twice with Kate Ambrey replying. League leaders
Bitton Ladies scored twelve against City of Gloucester, Abbie Woodley-Marshall scoring a
hat-trick whilst Rebecca Jones (2), Leanne Passaway, Edie Hopton, Anna Munday, Rebecca
Sullivan, Zeenat Ahmed, Maisie Sheedy and an own goal completed the tally. Bristol Rovers
Development netted one less in their win over Downend Flyers A, Megan Bloomer and Helena
Costa both bagging hat-tricks with Gift Ihejieto (2), Kassia Smith, Abigail Hughes and Poppy
Wannell also on target.
Shania Powell hit yet another hat-trick for AEK Boco Res, this time as they beat Ellwood
Ladies 6-0. Grace Clark added a brace and Kayleigh Bromiley was also on target to round off the
scoring whilst a four-goal haul from Miranda Smith spearheaded Gloucester City
Development's 6-1 victory against SGS Olveston Utd Res, Beth Smith and Ella-Mai Ireland
joining her on the scoresheet. Eight different players found the net for Stoke Lane Athletic in
their 8-0 victory against Andoversford, they were Eloise Manning, Leanne Derbyshire, Catherine
Morgan, Ella King, Stacy O'Reilly, Sophie Sawyer, Charlotte Hand and Charlotte Palmer.
Greater London League
Actonians Ladies Res claimed their sixth straight win at the top of the Premier Division,
Anne-Marie Pejcic and Kayleigh Peters scoring the goals as they beat Camden Town 2-1. Freya
Glen scored a hat-trick and Mia Fadeni contributed a brace, along with an own goal, as second
placed Islington Borough won 6-2 against UCL Academicals. Comets meanwhile kept
themselves in contention as they defeated Clapham Utd 5-0 with goals from Molly Hrudka (2),
Christina Stuart (2) and Frances Easton. Regents Park Rangers meanwhile claimed their second
win, 3-2 over Richmond & Kew courtesy of Sammy Burdus, Natalia Debek and Amelia Shiner.
The top of the table clash in Division One North went the way of leaders Leyton Orient, who
won 3-2 against Brentford B with goals from Jordan Feldman, Courtney Miller and Leanne Bates.
AFC Leyton have made it into second place, they beat Tower Hamlets 5-3 including a four-goal
haul from Abigail Lestrade and Anna Pacheco added the other. Elena Bodnarescu (2), Beth Kay (2)
and Nadia Renee accounted for the goals as East London Ladies defeated Hackney Res 5-1,
meanwhile Madeleine Donovan, Claire Huggins and Antonetta Kukaj all scored for Enfield Town
3rds in their 3-3 draw with Actonians Ladies 3rds, who scored through Emma Welch (2) and
Antonia Cole.
The top two remain neck and neck in Division One South; Hammersmith won 6-2 at
Kenningwell Utd and stay top on goal difference with Ashley Nevey (2), Gloria-Rose Mackaya
(2), Madeleine Hills and Elena Fairley on target. Bryony Bancroft (2) and Keira Barker netted the
goals for second placed Tooting Bec as they beat CB Hounslow Utd 3-1. South London
Women won 4-0 against Wandsworth Borough with doubles from Martha Goddard and
Jessica Huntley-Harris, whilst Raissa Essaka and Sophie Wilson were the markswomen for
Sporting Duet in their 2-0 victory over South East Parakeets. Josie Alderman and Rebecca
Netteryd scored for South London Laces in their 2-2 draw with Balham Panthers, who scored
through MJ Burgess and Laura Johnson.
