Welcome to the Lancer Scott Stadum

Good afternoon and I wish you all a warm
welcome to the Lancer Scott Stadium, particularly
today’s match officials Dylan Bayliss, Andy
Pearson and Alexander Parslow, the players,
officials and supporters who have made the long
        trip up from Helston Athletic.

        Financial advisors, GROSVENOR CONSULTANCY
LTD. are our latest sponsors. They would like to
hear from any players, members and supporters
who may be looking for advice on Mortgages,
pension, retirement or investment planning and
        protection. Contact them on

they will make a further donation to the club.
Some members have already used them for years.
While we have been saying our farewells to our member clubs in Cornwall and
Devon, it proved to be rather premature. If you haven’t heard already, I can
confirm that there will not be any League merger or geographical re-
organisation of our existing league for season 2023/23. There are league and
FA statements further in the programme.
Next Saturday we are in North Devon, Barnstaple Town. There are spaces on
the coach, if you wish to join us please let me or any of the management know.
Please see full details on Beech’s page.
The hospitality we receive at Helston is first class, good club, good ground,
good side, we look forward not only to today’s game but visiting them again
        next season.
I’ve no doubt Matt Cusack’s side will be thirsting for revenge today, following
our 2-0 victory 6 weeks ago at Kellaway park, Helston, with goals from Miles
and Kitan. I must say it was one of the best team performances we have put
together in years, everyone knew their job and fulfilled it. Athletic sit one place
above us in 7 place but 8 points clear, we need a victory today if we are to
                     th
        close that gap.
                                                                      th
The Reserves are here at the Lancer Scott this Wednesday, March 15 , when
we host promotion chasing local rivals Wrington, 7.30 KO. Tasty looking fixture.
Then home again on Saturday 18 march, V Burnham Utd. 3pm ko.
                                      th
Thank you for your support today, enjoy the game and please respect the
        officials.
