President’s
Thoughts
This evening we welcome the Players, Officials and Supporters of
Tytherington Rocks for a Les Phillips Cup match, and what is already our
third meeting with them this season.
Our previous two games were close fought games and there’s no reason to
think that tonight’s game will be any different.
As I write this, Tytherington have won their last three games and sit
comfortably in 8 spot in the league, and we had a good display against
th
Bishop Sutton.
Will is continuing to strengthen the squad and this week we have seen two
more arrivals in the shape(s) of Gavin Cabble and Callum Heal. We wish
them well at ‘The Phones’.
With Covid-19 still rife please make use of the hand sanitiser stations at the
entrance and in the club so that we can finish this season properly.
Lets hope for a well contested contest tonight and whatever the score, let’s
all enjoy the game and remember to accept the Referee’s judgement
whether we agree or not, as with-out officials we could not play the game…
Whilst I’m not there for tonight’s game the kitchen will be open at half time
for hot drinks and hot food. I will be in sunnier climes waiting on the result
with bated breath and I’m sure a glass or two.
!As we all say #Up the Phones
