League Review
No changes at the top of the Premier Division where both Malvern Town and Cribbs took
all three points from their fixtures to preserve the one point lead held by Malvern.
Sam Judge scored the only goal of the game to give Malvern their victory over Royal
Wootton Bassett Town whilst Cribbs ran riot at home to Hereford Pegasus, beating the
fourth-placed team 6-0 at The Lawns. Steve Murray scored twice, and there were further
goals from Joe Hillard, Nick Jones, George Kellow and Ross McErlain.
Westfields were held up in their challenge by lowly Thornbury Town who earned a point
from a 1-1 draw with a goal from Harvey Pritchard. Archie Muirhead levelled for Westfields.
Mangotsfield United were 2-0 winners at Longlevens to improve their standing. Oli
Jenkins and an own goal found the target.
Chipping Sodbury Town remain near the foot of the table after they crashed 3-0 at
Fairford Town. On the mark were Jamal Lawrence, Jerzey Marsalek and an own goal.
Harlie Price 2 and Ollie Barnes gave Brimscombe & Thrupp a similar 3-0 win over
Bradford Town, whilst Roman Glass St. George went one better with four at Lydney
Town. Lewis Leigh-Gilchrist, Aiden Sanfelice, Luke Smith and Shacquille Smith all netted for
the Saints.
Corsham Town’s marksmen in their 3-1 success at Hereford Lads Club were Gary
Higden, Neikell Plummer and Ryan Bath. Levi Ellis replied in vain for the home side.
In the other games played, Worcester Raiders edged out Wantage Town 2-1 thanks to
Louis Monaghan and Jordan Murphy. Ollie Thomas netted for Town. Tuffley Rovers and
Shrivenham shared a 1-1 draw with Kieran Squires scoring for Tuffley and Josh McGrory
for the visitors.
Pershore Town took over the lead in the First Division table following a 1-0 win at
Cheltenham Saracens that was secured by Jordan Jones’ 50 -minute goal.

Clanfield 85 maintained their challenge with a 2-0 victory over Abingdon United thanks
to goals from Nathaniel Robinson and Jamie Wyatt.
Luke Soule grabbed a hat trick and there was one goal each for Chris Earle and Ethan
Gibson-Clarke to give Shortwood United an emphatic 5-0 success against Littleton.
No such luck for Stonehouse Town who were well beaten 3-0 at home by Long Crendon.
Oli Lethbridge 2 and Nathan Sims found the net.
Three of Saturday’s fixtures were decided by a single goal. Calne Town took all three points
at home to Moreton Rangers thanks to Declan McStravick. Luca Robinson netted the only
goal as Hartpury University pipped Bourton Rovers, and Newent Town edged out
Kidlington Reserves after a strike from Saul Thomas.
Malmesbury Victoria and FC Stratford battled out a 1-1 draw with Kyle Witt for
Malmesbury swapping goals with Felix Miles.
Southam Uited were narrow 2-1 winners over Cirencester Town Development who are
still seeking their first point of the season. Jay Lewis and Melvinino Mauritson gave the home
side victory while Jake Allen kept Cirencester in the hunt.
