Management Team
George Boon Player Manager
Another club legend. After a youth career at Bristol City, and a short spell at Bristol Manor
Farm, George has been at the heart of the Heath team for a number of seasons, making 399
appearances and scoring 72 goals. An out and out left winger, he’s a creative force and
regularly tops the assists for the season. Become Joint Player Manager for the 2021/22
season alongside David Doe and Matt Huxley and has taken on sole Player Manager
Responsibility for the 23/24 season.
Matt Huxley Player Coach
The very definition of a club legend. After a youth career at Southampton, Matt cruelly had
his pro career at the Saints cut short and returned to Bristol to forge a phenomenal
goalscoring career in the non-league scene. After short, goalscoring, spells at Weston-Super-
Mare and Bitton, Matt signed for Oldland Abbotonians and scored a total of 150 goals in 155
games. After short spells at Yate and Mangotsfield, Matt signed for Cadbury Heath and is the
club’s all time top scorer with an unbelievable 296 goals in 395 appearances. Left the club
and signed for Oldland in September 2020 but returned in June 2021 as Joint Player
Manager for the 2021/22 season alongside David Doe and George Boon. Has become Player
Coach for the 23/24 season.
Aaron Day Assistant Manager
Aaron rejoined The Heath in December 2021 as Assistant Manager and Coach and this
coincided with a big upturn in form on the pitch. He was previously Coach with the first team
during the 2020/21 season. Aaron has previously played for The Heath during an excellent
playing career and his work is hugely appreciated by all at the club.

Rich Thompson Kit Man/Coach
Rich joined The Heath at the start of the 2021/22 season as kit man and also assists the
management team with coaching and match day duties. He’s a popular member of the
management group and the club and is behind the @cadburykitman Twitter handle that
provides our in-match commentary.
Grant Evans Player Coach
Grant joined The Heath at the start of the 2023/24 season as coach as part of George Boon’s
management team and can also play in midfield.

Jamie Powell Goalkeeper
Jay re-signed for us late in the 22/23 season, joining from Bristol Telephones. Has previously
played for us in 16/17 and 18/19 before spells at Wick, Longwell Green and Telephones.
He’s made 64 appearances for The Heath. Jay is sponsored by Mike Easlick.
Mason Hawkins Goalkeeper
Mason signed for us for the 23/24 season after impressing in a number of pre-season
friendlies. Has had spells at AEK Boco and Bristol Telephones. Mason is sponsored by Glenn
Smart.
