Gloucestershire League
One match was played in Division One but it produced plenty of goals as Dursley Town edged
out Cheltenham Saracens by the odd goal in nine. Lucy Jones scored twice for Dursley, with
Emma Allen, Aine Redmond and Katie Hooper adding the others, whilst Saracens - who would
have returned to the top with a win - replied through Leah Rhodes (2), Kelly Adams and Jordan
Burrows.
There was a change of leadership in Division Two, with Red Falcon Club taking over at
the top following their 2-2 draw with Whitchurch & Bristol. Jessica Taylor and Emily Small
scored for Whitchurch - who registered their first point of the season - and Red Falcon netted
through Emily Hardaker and Tierney Harris. Gemma Riley and Harmony Wheeler each scored
twice as Cheltenham Civil Service moved up to second by beating Bradley Stoke 4-1,
Hollie Shone replying. Downend Flyers Res netted six times without reply past Longlevens,
Annabel Bean bagging a brace along with Ellie Lester, Brooke Moore, Lisa Ralph and Ellie
Brockton.
Division Three leaders Ellwood Ladies were beaten for the first time this season, 3-2 by
Stoke Lane Athletic. Leanne Derbyshire, Sophie Sawyer and Gemma Rallison were all on
target for Stoke Lane, whilst Hayley Layton netted a brace in reply. Southmead Community
Sport move up to second, level on points with Ellwood, after Jordan Scowen (2), Carly Thomas
and Shannon Hazell gave them a 4-0 victory over Winchcombe Town. Beth Pitman netted
twice and Mollie Bourne added the other as Downend Flyers A ran out 3-0 winners against
Andoversford.
Greater London League
Actonians Ladies Res continued their strong start to the season in the Premier Division,
notching up a third straight win when scoring five without reply past UCL Academicals. Kate
Stevens hit a hat-trick and there was one apiece from Sinthujah Sooriyakumar and Sally
Cheeseman. Comets defeated Regents Park Rangers 8-1 and are up to second, McKenna
Doyle scoring a hat-trick and the others coming from Diede Fennema (2), Paulina Koutroubis,
Lina Veicheva and Pia Mingkwan. Lily-Rose Dyer (2), Chantal Paine, Ellen Salter, McKenzie
Webster and Sarah Shao accounted for the goals as Camden Town won for the first time, 6-3
at Richmond & Kew.
Leyton Orient made it four wins out of four in Division One North, Liliana Almeida's
hat-trick plus Rebecca Linney, Shakira Waithe and Leanne Bates saw them to a 6-1 victory over
Enfield Town 3rds. Orient now head the table by two points after second placed East
London Ladies drew 4-4 with Forest Crusaders. Reanne Bell-Webb scored a hat-trick and
Raquel Mezquita the other for Forest, with East London netting througn Elena Bodnarescu (2),
Courtney Peverill and Beth Kay. Kasey Clifford (2), Abigail Claringbold and Holly Hawkes
scored the goals as Brentford B defeated AFC Leyton to go third, whilst Tower Hamlets
triumphed 5-2 at Actonians Ladies 3rds thanks to a Heather McIntosh brace, Amber Clarke,
Natalie Keating and Ella Vickers-Strutt. Fae Fulconis netted twice and Renee Dela Cruz the
other as Hackney Res won 3-1 against Luton Town Res.
Tooting Bec hold on to top spot in Division One South, Olivia Griffiths (2) and Eleanor
White scored the goals as they won 3-0 at Sporting Duet to stay top on goal difference from
Hammersmith who beat South East Parakeets 6-1, Ashley Nevey scoring four times along
with Julianna Belinfante and an own goal. Elyse Stokley and Rachael Todd were on the
scoresheet as third placed South London Women won 2-0 against Balham Panthers and
South London Laces were 6-2 victors over Wandsworth Borough, their markswomen
were Josie Alderman (2), Sabrina Amato, Emily Hill, Elinor Mason and Megan Rolls. Makesha
MacFarlane hit a hat-trick as Kenningwell Utd won for the first time, 3-2 against CB
Hounslow Utd.
