Ross Weatherstone & Ty Newton (Managers)
Hartley Wintney appointed Ross and Ty as joint managers ahead of the 2022/23 season, succeeding
Anthony Millerick, who became Director of Football after seven years with the club. Ross played in
the Football League for Oxford United and Boston United and had been under-23’s manager at
Hartley since 2020. Ty joined the Row as a player a year earlier before serving on the first team
coaching staff last season.
Adam Desbois (21)
Goalkeeper who has recently signed from Brighton & Hove Albion. He had a season-long spell with
Hartley in 2018/19, having joined on loan from Reading. Three years on the South Coast with
Brighton followed, which included a brief stint at Leatherhead last season.
Aaron Goode (33)
Right back or centre back who is in his second season with Hartley after joining from Sutton Common
Rovers last year. The defender did briefly return to his old side last term but is now a first-choice
player at the Memorial Ground and has deputised as captain when required.

Matt Drage (30)
Centre back who was last season’s supporters’ player of the year at Hartley Wintney. He is the only
player to feature in all five seasons that the Row have spent at Step 3, whilst briefly turning out for
Harrow Borough and Chertsey Town in that time.

Toby Nevile (18)
Centre back who has joined the Row permanently after a work experience loan from Exeter City last
season. The defender moved from Hampshire to begin a two-year scholarship with the Grecians in
2020 before returning in February this year for the start of his first spell with the Row.

Jake Rumble (19)
Left back who is in his second season with Hartley, having joined the Row on dual registration with
Woking earlier this year. A former player of the year winner in the National League side’s under-18’s,
he is now with Hartley on a permanent basis.
Isaac Charles (23)
Centre back who joined the club in the summer from Combined Counties League side Windsor. The
defender’s other former clubs include Walthamstow, Clapton and Potton United.
Tom Leggett (26)
Defender who can play in both full back positions and can also provide cover in midfield. He was
scouted by Aston Villa as a youngster before dropping into non-league with Basingstoke Town,
Farnborough and most recently Hartley, who he joined in January this year.
Harry Cooksley (27)
Midfielder and new club captain for 2022/23 who played professionally in Austria until the start of
last season. He signed for Farnborough on his return to the UK but opted to join Hartley on loan in
January, with a successful spell leading to a permanent deal being agreed for this campaign.

George Spiers (25)
Midfielder who has recently signed from Ashford Town and has also played for Farnham Town,
Alton and Hayes & Yeading United. He linked up with the Row for pre-season and is expected
to be a key player in 2022/23.
