P. 3
Good afternoon and a very warm welcome to the
players, coaching team and supporters of our visitors
Cribbs Reserves for this Toolstation Western League
Division One game. As someone who used to work for
Axa Sun Life whose “work” team were the foundation for
the Cribbs FC of today, I can fully appreciate the hard
work undertaken by some of my old work colleagues to
get the club to where they are today, with a First Team
in the Southern League and Reserves at the same level
as us.
Our committee would also like to welcome today’s match
officials, referee Rebecca Halford and her 2 assistants, Steve Fearnley & Rob
Cockle.
It is fair to say that nobody at the club is under the illusion that we are not
embroiled in a relegation battle. Despite having games in hand on several rivals
after matches were rearranged due to the pitch issues, the table does not lie and
a return of 10 points from a possible 45 does not make good reading.
However today is the first of 6 home League games at Crown Fields over the next
month, so it is imperative that we start to make home advantage count.
Forthcoming Home Games
Saturday 11 November Cheddar (3:00pm kick-off)
Saturday 18 November Shirehampton (3:00pm kick-off)
Saturday 25 November Wells City Reserves (3:00pm kick-off)
Tuesday 28 November AEK Boco (7:45pm kick-off)
Saturday 2 December Middlezoy Rovers (3:00pm kick-off)
