Welcome

Good afternoon and welcome to The Field.

We again extend a special warm welcome to the players, management and
supporters of Hallen FC for this Toolstation Western League First Division
fixture. We hope they enjoy their short stay with us and have a safe
       journey home tonight.

We also offer our thanks to our Match Officials for today and hope they
       enjoy the game.

Our run of poor results has continued since our last home League game
when Nailsea & Tickenham came here and left with a 3-0 victory under their
belts. Subsequently a 1-0 defeat at Cheddar and last weekend’s 5-0 reverse
at Bristol Telephones have resulted in our Manager Joe White deciding to
leave his post. Assistant Manager Pat Fuller agreed to step in to fill the void
on a Caretaker basis and we wish him all the best. On Tuesday we gave a
spirited performance against Tuffley Rovers in the GFA Trophy but sadly the
poor run continued with a 2-1 defeat.

Today we meet Hallen who are back in the Western League after suffering
relegation from the Hellenic League at the end of last term. They are having
a reasonable season to date and we expect a tough test this afternoon.

We thank you for your continued support and hope you will enjoy the
game, and, look forward to seeing you all again soon.

       Mike Blessing
