Welcome

Good afternoon and welcome to The Field.

We again extend a special warm welcome to the players, management and
supporters of FC Bristol for this Toolstation Western League First Division
fixture, our first of the New Year 2023! We hope they enjoy their short stay
with us and have a safe journey home tonight.

We also offer our thanks to our Match Officials for today and hope they
enjoy the game.

Hooray!! At long last, after six consecutive defeats, our Christmas victory at
Tytherington Rocks was VERY welcome, and a great way to end the year.
The result lifted us above Rocks in the table and our position looks a lot
healthier than it did before the game.

Today we meet FC Bristol who have made the long, exhausting journey
from…… across the road at Oaklands to be here with us! They are enjoying
a very good season to date and we expect a tough test this afternoon.

We thank you for your continued support and hope you will enjoy the
game, and, look forward to seeing you all again soon.

In the meantime, I would wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR 2023
