Welcome

Good evening and welcome to The Field.

We again extend a special warm welcome to the players, management and
supporters of Cheddar FC for this Toolstation Western League First
Division fixture. We hope they enjoy their short stay with us and have a
safe journey home tonight.

We also offer our thanks to our Match Officials for today and hope they
enjoy the game.

I have repeat the sentiment I expressed on Saturday…The win-less run
goes on. It has now stretched to eleven games following last week’s 2-1
defeat at home to Shirehampton. Once again we were very much in the
game but gave ourselves too much to do by conceding first half goals. A
livelier second half was not enough to secure a share of the points.

Today we meet Cheddar who have not enjoyed the sort of success to which
they have been accustomed in recent years but and we still expect a stern
test from them.

We thank you for your continued support and hope you will enjoy the
game, and, look forward to seeing you all again soon.
