League Review
A single goal from David Reynolds earned a narrow 1-0 victory for
Malvern Town against title rivals Corsham Town and remain at
the helm of the Premier Division by two points from unbeaten
Cribbs. The Bristol outfit were 2-1 winners at Tuffley Rovers
thanks to early goals from Steve Murray and Josh Bennett.
Westfields took a fourth-minute lead at Mangotsfield United and
extended their advantage to three before half time. Jack Gittoes and
Josh Hunt both netted as the visitors to Cossham Street dominated
proceedings. Jeff Barimah reduced the arrears shortly after the
break, but any thought of a fightback was extinguished by further
goals from Daniel Stoneman and Archie Muirhead to seal a handsome
5-1 win.
Introducing Royal Wootton Bassett Town F.C.
The two Hereford teams notched 3-2 home wins, Hereford
Pegasus pipped Wantage Town thanks to Matthew James, Carlos

goal in five with the winner coming eight minutes from time. William
Loughman and Brandon Jennings kept the scores 2-2 but substitute
Henry Dyde grabbed a late decider to break Thornbury Town
hearts.
Royal Wotton Bassett Town lost ground when they lost 3-2 at
Brimscombe & Thrupp despite a double from substitute Alan
Griffin. Ollie Barnes, Sam Folkes and Liam Harper gave the points to
the home team.
