FA Women’s Championship

       Liverpool  continue  to  power  away  as  leaders  of  the  FA  Women’s
       Championship and stay seven points after winning 4-0 at Crystal Palace.
       The home side had started the day in third place after four straight wins but
       two Yana Daniels goals, either side of a strike from
       Katie Stengel, put Liverpool three ahead at the break
       and Rachel Furness added a fourth midway through
       the second half.
            London  City  Lionesses  keep  hold  of
       second  place  following  their  1-0  win  away  to
       Coventry  Utd.  The  home  side’s  resistance  was
       broken  nine  minutes  from  time,  Kenni  Thompson
       scoring  the  only  goal  of  the  game  to  give  the
       Lionesses a fourth victory in five matches.
            Charlton Athletic complete the top three,
       thanks  to  a  2-0  victory  at  Bristol  City.  Lois
       Heuchan opened the scoring with a superbly struck  Bristol City’s Aggie Beever-Jones gets in a cross
       half  volley  midway  through  the  first  half  and  Elise  past Lois Roche of Charlton Athletic
       Hughes  wrapped  up  the  win  with  the  second  goal,    (Will Cheshire).

            Durham  Women  slip  back  a  place  to  fourth  after  battling  out  a  1-1  draw  with
       Sheffield Utd, who continued their improvement in form. Beth Hepple gave the Wildcats a
       25th minute lead from the penalty spot, which they held until five minutes remaining, when
       Rebecca  Rayner  netted  the  equaliser  for  the

            Lewes  are  only  four  points  behind  the Sheffield Utd 1 (Rayner 85)
       top  three  following  their  2-0  victory  over  - Coventry Utd 0
       Sunderland  at  the  Dripping  Pan.  The  London City Lionesses 1 (Thompson 81)
       Rookettes  got  off  to  a  great  start  with  Isobel  -
       Dalton putting them in front after five minutes, Crystal Palace 0
       and Ellie Mason added the second  goal shortly  Liverpool 4 (Daniels 15,33, Stengel 24, Furness 68)

            A  crucial  match  at  the  foot  of  the  table  Sunderland 0
       saw Watford play host to Blackburn Rovers. -
       Both teams had opportunities but neither could Watford 0
       make a breakthrough, producing a goalless draw  Blackburn Rovers 0
       which  means  that  Blackburn  were  able  to  - Bristol City 0
       preserve  their  four  point  advantage  over  Charlton Athletic 2 (Heuchan 25, Hughes 73)
       Watford, although they have played a game more.
