Looking to tonight’s fixture, we extend a very warm welcome to the directors,
players, staff, and supporters of Salisbury. We hope you enjoy your visit to Lodge
Road and have a safe journey home.

The Wiltshire side progressed in the FA Trophy with a win over fellow Southern
League Premier South outfit Gosport Borough. The Whites’ league form has been
largely inconsistent, however – their last three league matches have yielded an
away win at Weston, a home loss to Chesham and a thrilling 3-3 draw with
Beaconsfield. The up-and-down form has Steve Claridge’s men currently sitting 8 th
                                    th
in the league, two points shy of 5 -placed Poole, but with two games in hand.

Finally, it is with great pleasure that we can announce that ALL of our home
allocation of tickets for Saturday’s cup clash with Yeovil Town have now been sold,
and we can expect a capacity crowd for what will no doubt be a momentous
occasion for the club. Thank you to everyone who has purchased their tickets – and
don’t forget, we also have further upcoming home games where all your support
will once again be massively appreciated.

It’s more cup action to begin with on Tuesday 9 November when we host
                                                      th
                                                                         th
Cheltenham Town reserves in the County Cup. Saturday November 13 sees
Taunton make the short journey up the M5 to Lodge Road (3pm KO), and this will
be followed by yet another home game against Poole Town on Tuesday November
       16 (7.45 KO).
