Nick’s Notes. The Resies

So 4 games to bring you up to date with starting with an away
fixture to Long Ashton. With our previous encounter going the way
of our opponents with a 3 nil home defeat we were keen to avenge
that result and we did so in style coming away with a 4 nil win with
goals courtesy of Jake Flower, Callum Biggins, Thomas Smart and
Will Solari.

Next up was home to Radstock Town with our boys putting on a
convincing display with goals from Thomas Smart and a hat trick
from man of the match Paul Uppington.

Then next up was a tough encounter away to top of the table
Castle Cary Paul Uppington equalizing for the Stags after some
great work by Wilf Bond .

Last up we were home to Bishops Lydeard a very impressive young
side who more than matched us in the first half, but who we
dominated in the second half with goals from Thomas Smart , Wilf
Bond, Cam Main and the goal of the game from Jason Radnedge a
30 yard pile driver .

So that leaves us joint top of the league with 8 games (cup finals )
to play, next up 9 April 3pm KO, home to Winscombe . With the

end of the season in sight April is gonna be a busy month ! With 6
of these here at the Lancer Scott, your support on the home run
would be very welcome.
