Mendip Broadwalk programmes are getting as bad as the local bus
system: you wait for ages and then two come at once!

Saturday saw us play Illminster at home after they aided our
unfortunate exit from the cup the week prior. It was vital we took the
win, not only to secure necessary points, but to serve a little bit of cold
MBW revenge.

The game ended up being nothing shy of a boring watch, with the only
thing stirring up the crowd being Jordan’s questionable choice of a
mullet.

However we secured the win with a late goal. Congratulations to JP for
being near the ball when it went in!

This week sees another Tuesday fixture. With back to back games like
this, we can only hope Milly’s fully stocked up on deep heat and has
those magic hands at the ready. At least those chosen to rest up this
week have the newly upgraded dug-outs to watch from!

A win against Uphill Castle will strengthen the boys’ hold on that top
position. Will management make the right rotations? Will the boys be
able to pull through this slog of matches? Will Jacob ever get an
opportunity to see inside the new dug-outs? Only time will tell!
