From the Dugout
Well what a contras ng few days that was. We put in a disappoin ng
performance to draw 1-1 with Cadbury Heath last Saturday. And then we
had the last minute excitement of an Asa White penalty to beat Por shead
2-1 on Tuesday night.
It was two totally different performances and the back 4 & George
Dorrington were superb in nullifying the threat of Por shead’s potent
a acking threat.
We know we are going to have games when we may have me take a
narrow win with a poor performance. Especially with the amount of games
we have games coming up. We are going to need every player in our squad
& a few of our talented youth players to get through these next 13 games.
Of course the weather is not helping & heavy rain on Wednesday night will
not help but our ground staff will do their best to try & get games on.
We know today will not be easy as our visitors beat us on Boxing Day but
hopefully the heavy pitch condi ons will suit us be er than them.
We then travel to Hallen on Monday before Weston visit us on Wednesday
night in the SFA Cup Semi Final.
Congratula ons to our Captain Asa White on the birth of his son Woody last
Saturday.
Enjoy the game.
