Genero Adran League
Swansea City maintained their lead of four points by winning 5-2 away to Aberystwyth
Town. Karmyn Carter gave the Swans a tenth minute lead which was doubled by Stacey
John-Davis and after Flavia Jenkins had reduced the arrears, Carter netted her second ahead
of half time. Chloe Chivers netted a brace during the second half to put the seal on matters for
Swansea, before the home side scored a late consolation through Hannah Pusey.
Second met third and it was Cardiff Met Women who were 2-0 winners against
Cardiff City Women. Elianna Chavez opened the scoring for the Archers after seventeen
minutes and Lauren Hutton-Townsend secured the win late in the second half from the penalty
spot.
In the Plate Conference, Pontypridd Town were 4-1 winners away to The New
Saints. Anais Trinci nettted a first half brace to put the Dragons two ahead at the interval and
after Caitlin Chapman pulled one back for TNS early in the second half, Millie Jones restored
the two-goal advantage and Trinci completed her hat-trick in injury time.
Port Talbot Town meanwhile narrowed the gap on Barry Town Utd to three points
after winning their meeting 2-0. Both goals came either side of half time, Lauren Amor giving
Port Talbot the lead and Courteney Thomas adding the second.
Rosie Hughes has been in unstoppable form for North Division leaders Wrexham for
most of the season and she scored eight times against Denbigh Town on Sunday. Sophie
Hodson weighed in with a hat-trick while Rebecca Pritchard, TJ Dickens and Amber Lightfoot
