Welcome
Good afternoon and welcome to The Field.
We extend a special warm welcome to the players, management and
supporters of Welton Rovers FC, for this Toolstation Western
League First Division fixture. We hope they enjoy their short stay
with us and have a safe journey home tonight. We also offer our
thanks to our Match Officials for today and hope they enjoy the
game.
Our last home game saw us well beaten 4-0 by a very good
Wincanton Town side and went against our recent form. However, a
return to the style we have become accustomed to over the last
couple of months helped us to a vital 2-1 win at strugglers Devizes
Town last weekend which has surely aided our escape programme.
Today we meet the unbeaten League leaders Welton Rovers who will
definitely provide tough opposition. They became the first local side
to reach 50 points for the season in last week’s win over Tytherington
Rocks.
We hope you will enjoy the game and look forward to seeing you all
again.
