Welcome

Good evening and welcome to The Field.

We again extend a special warm welcome to the players, management and
supporters of Tuffley Rovers FC for this GFA Challenge Trophy Second
Round tie. We hope they enjoy their short stay with us and have a safe
       journey home tonight.

We also offer our thanks to our Match Officials for today and hope they
       enjoy the game.

Our run of poor results has continued since our last home game when
Nailsea & Tickenham came here and left with a 3-0 victory under their belts.
Subsequently a 1-0 defeat at Cheddar and last weekend’s 5-0 reverse at
Bristol Telephones have resulted in our Manager Joe White deciding to
leave his post. Assistant Manager Pat Fuller has agreed to step in to fill the
void on a Caretaker basis and we wish him all the best.

This evening we meet Tuffley Rovers from the Uhlsport Hellenic League
Premier Division who are experiencing a similar season to ourselves on the
field. Often cup ties can offer a relief from the League programme and the
freedom can lead to a better performance. Lets us hope so.

We thank you for your continued support and hope you will enjoy the
game, and, look forward to seeing you all again soon.

       Mike Blessing
