Welcome

Good afternoon and welcome to The Field.

We again extend a special warm welcome to the players, management and
supporters of Wells City FC for this Toolstation Western League First
Division fixture. We hope they enjoy their short stay with us and have a
safe journey home tonight.

We also offer our thanks to our Match Officials for today and hope they
enjoy the game.

Unfortunately, our recent run of defeats has continued. A 3-1 home defat
by our neighbours from across the road, Lebeq United, last weekend was
followed by an important 3-2 setback at Bristol Telephones on Tuesday
evening, Phones leapfrogged us in the table with the three points. They
appear to have found a winning formula at the crucial stage of the season,
and one which we need to discover quickly.

Today we meet Wells City who are having a good season and another tough
game is anticipated.

We hope you will enjoy the game and look forward to seeing you all again.
