Introducing Paulton Rovers F.C.

Craig Loxton
Joint manager with John Durbin. A former Paulton midfielder under Andy Jones. He has been
manager at Shepton Mallet for the last seven years.. He was signed from Clevedon Town
having started as a professional with Bristol City. He continues to play a few games each
season
John Durbin
Worked alongside Craig at Shepton Mallet from the 2019/20 season where they went on to
establish a top 6 team in the league, and this season reached the FA Cup 2nd qualifying
round for the first time in the club's history. He was previously manager at Hengrove Athletic.
Sam Downes (Coach)
Former player with Mangotsfield, Longwell Green and Bishop Sutton who he also managed.
UEFA B Licence holder he has been involved with Paulton Rovers Development Centre over
the last year.
Rick Lebiedz (Goalkeeping coach)
Keeper with Cadbury Heath, Stockwood Green (who he also managed) and after leaving
Bristol City Centre of Excellence. Worked with Craig and John at Sheton Mallet last season.
Aaron Whittock (Kit Manager)
A prolific striker in Rovers Reserves he has taken over as Kit Manager on the retirement of
long serving Colin Parsons. Still has his boots to hand if called upon.
Everett Welch (Physio)
Joined the club in November 2022. Was a Western League player with Backwell before
working his magic hands at Odd Down.
Ed Butcher (Winger) Age 29
Speedy left winger with a fierce shot. In his fifth season after joining from Bridport Town
apart from a short spell at Tiverton Town.
Josh Cload (Full Back) Age 18
Hails from Farrington Gurney, youth team player who made his first team debut last term.
Jack Dancey (Defender/Central Midfield) Age 26
Signed last season from Mangotsfield United. Previous clubs Keynsham Town and Larkhall
Athletic. Adapted well to central defence.
Curtis Dunn (Midfield) Age 26
Joined this season from Odd Down has also turned out for Larkhall Athletic came through
Forest Green Rovers Academy.
Leo Eglin (Midfield) Age 20
Made his first team debut in 2021. Has progressed to challenge for a regular place. A former
England U18’s Colleges international.
Finlay Haines (Midfield) Age 21
Local lad joined in July 2023 from Shepton Mallet after coming through the Radstock Town
Youth team.
Alfie Hamblin (Goalkeeper) Age 16
Local lad who came through Paulton’s youth team after being released by Bristol Rovers.
Very capable and confident young player.
Nick Hewlett (Defender) Age 31
Joined last season from Shepton Mallet where he has been captain over the last few
seasons. A reliable and solid performer.
