Today you will see a bucket collection for 2 worthy charities, Jesse May and
Children’s Hospice SW, which Keynsham Town Football Club are proud to support.
We will also be making a contribution to both causes from our halftime raffle this
afternoon, so please give generously.
Our Walking Footballers have raised over £30k since 2014 for Good Causes.
Children's Hospice South West provide hospice care for children and young people
living with life-limiting conditions and their whole family. Hospice breaks,
emergency care, palliative care and end of life care at 3 wonderful children's
hospices; Little Bridge House in Devon, Charlton Farm in Somerset and Little
Harbour in Cornwall.
The Jessie May Trust was established by parents Chris and Philippa Purrington
following the death of their baby daughter, Jessica May, in September 1994.
Now known as Jessie May, they as a charity provide specialist nursing care for
terminally ill children in their own homes. They offer end of life care and
bereavement support, as well as vital respite sessions and emotional support to
those children’s families. This allows families to make the most of the precious time
they have together and to create treasured family memories.
Over the last 26 years the charity has supported over 300 children and their
families across Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, Bath & North East
Somerset, and Swindon & Wiltshire.
