P. 3

Good afternoon and a very warm welcome to the
players, coaching team and supporters of our local
rivals Brislington for this Boxing Day Toolstation
       Western League Division One game.

Our committee would also like to welcome today’s
match officials, referee Dan Forrester and his 2
assistants, Jake Richards & Andy Leeds.
It was disappointing that the lads could not follow up
from their impressive display at Cribbs Reserves when
Gillingham Town visited us last week, but we go again
       today.

Although life has been a bit of a struggle on the pitch
for our young squad so far this season, the club has
been touched recently by some major health issues for
people dearly loved by all at Keynsham Town FC – remember, this is only a game
which we all volunteer to help put on, and we must not forget that everyone’s
health is the most important thing. I know that our friends from Brislington will
empathise, as they have sadly been impacted in this way over the last couple of
       years.

With this in mind, you will see that we are collecting this afternoon on behalf of 2
fantastic local charities supported by our club – any donations will be gratefully
       received.
This Saturday sees us make the long trek (!) up Stockwood Hill to face Bristol
Telephones, with our next game here at Crown Fields being the visit of Hallen on
       Tuesday 9 January 2024 (19:45 kick-off).
                th
Everyone at the club would like to wish our valued band of supporters and sponsors
a happy and prosperous New Year! Don’t forget to keep up with all the Ks news via
       our social media channels!
As always, I thank you in anticipation of your continued support in the important
       weeks ahead!
       Up the Ks!!
