             LONGWELL GREEN SPORTS V WINCANTON TOWN


       Welcome to the 3G Arena here at Longwell for today’s first game of
       the 2023/24 season against Wincanton Town.


       We have enjoyed a good, competitive pre-season and hopefully we
       shall be able to take that form into the league programme.


       Under our Manager Chris Always and his Management Team Geraint,
       Mark Tony Alex, and Pat ‘O,’ they should all be proud of the way the
       team has developed, particularly the young players.


       We are all excited about what the season may bring.


       All clubs are going to have a busy time in the month of August with
       up to eight fixtures scheduled.


       We play away at newcomers Bradford Town on Tuesday evening and
       next Saturday we are at home to Shirehampton.


       Enjoy the game and come again soon.
