JUNIOR SECTION

       CONTINUES TO GROW

As we sit here today with this fantastic new facility opening, time to reflect
on the incredible last decade within Longwell Green Juniors.

In that period growing from around 350 Junior players to currently 850.

       Included in this:

       160 girls aged from 2 -16

       A thriving Disability section

       A large pre-school section from age 2

We achieved Community Club status around 8 years ago and since then
have been awarded Community Club of the year no less than 5 times. Pre-
Pandemic being selected by the FA as one of just a few clubs as a National
Hub Club a proud moment. Recently being confirmed under the new
England Accreditation as 3 *** England Accredited.

During this time the club picking up 15 awards and our coaches 19 awards

At the heart of it though and whilst we are proud of the many players who
have gone on to greater things and even our national sides, we are a
football family providing ‘football for all’ allowing children to develop and
       enjoy the beautiful game.

As we start training on the fantastic new facility this will bring benefits to
the whole community and bring a host of opportunities that just weren’t
possible before. Watch this space for exciting projects and follow us on our
       social media.
