Good afternoon all and welcome to the players
, officials and supporters of Bridgwater United
who have made the relatively short trip to be
with us today. Can I also welcome this
       afternoon’s referee Simon Laraway and
assistants Chris Martin & Adam Boubrahmi.

At the risk of sounding repetitive, we know that
this afternoon’s clash will be a really tough test
for us. Bridgwater are flying , they come to us
sitting in fourth place in the table, having
rounded off a rewarding February for them
with an impressive 2-0 victory at Bitton last
       weekend.

Mind you, we're not doing so badly ourselves!
Last week’s win at Saltash was just reward for
what I thought was a magnificent team
performance. Not an easy place to go and on a
sticky, bobbly pitch, the boys played some really good football, defended superbly
when they had to, and thanks to a second half brace within the space of 3 minutes
from Will Hailston (his 23rd and 24th of the season!), came from behind to take all
       3 points.
So, today has all the ingredients for a thriller. Let's hope so and that the weather is
kind enough to us for what we hope, is a bumper crowd, to enjoy.

Finally, the Western League are working with the Bath-based charity MIND,whose
aim is to promote support for those suffering with mental heath issues and general
wellbeing in the difficult times that we have all experienced over the past few years.
Full details of the charities work can be found elsewhere in this programme. The
club will be conducting a bucket collection at the gate for those wishing to make a
       contribution to this worthy cause.
Thank you for coming today and, as always, for your support. .
