A Word from the Chairman….

Good evening and welcome to the
Players, Officials and Supporters of
Worle Football Club. We hope they
enjoy their visit to BBS Park the
home of Mendip Broadwalk and
have a safe journey home this
evening.

Games are coming thick and fast
and the lads have been superb so
far. Can’t ask for a better start than
player 5, won 5. However, in those 5 wins we’ve faced some tough
opposition which has made the start even more rewarding from my
point of view. Saturday just gone we faced a solid Nailsea United
team. I believe they could be in the mix this season if they turn some
of their draws into wins. The game was well contested with both
teams looking dangerous going forward. We edged the play and got
a deserved 2-0 win.

We expect tonight’s game against Worle to be a tough test. They
have had a mixed start to the campaign scoring and conceding lots.
Let’s hope I’ve not cursed it and it ends up 0-0.

You will notice work continues to improve the facility and BBS Park to
bring us inline with Western League standards. The ambition of the
club is to achieve this sooner rather than later.

Only time will tell if we have the squad and the facility. As always
we’ll be giving it everything !!
