Gloucestershire League
Four more points from their final three matches would be enough for Bitton Ladies to clinch the
league title. After their meeting with leaders Bristol Rovers Development finished in a goalless
draw in midweek, Bitton followed this up by beating Dursley Town 3-1 over the weekend. Edie
Hopton, Leanne Passaway and Rebecca Jones all scored for Bitton, whilst Dursley's reply came from
Katie Hooper. Gloucester City will finish in third place after goals from Kacie Anderson, Kate
Ambrey and Paige Todd gave them a 3-2 win away to local rivals Tuffley Rovers, for whom Chloe
Taylor netted a brace. Bishop's Cleeve and Bristol & West finished level at 1-1, Saffron O'Brien
giving Cleeve a first half lead and Lauren Page equalising for the visitors after the break from the
penalty spot.
A narrow 1-0 win for Whitchurch & Bristol away to Downend Flyers Res means that
Cheltenham Civil Service have had to wait before they can be confirmed as Division Two
champions, although they now only require one more points to do so. Grace Rawlings scored the only
goal of the game for Whitchurch who are now in the driving seat for second place after AEK Boco
Res went down 6-3 to Cirencester Town. Eden Marsh bagged a hat-trick, with Lucy Scrannage (2)
and Anna Toporkiewicz adding the others as fourth placed Ciren kept up their strong finish to the
season, whilst Boco saw their title chances come to an end despite replies from Shelby Lacey, Mariana
Miacci and Ilarna Nche. Hollie Shone netted twice more for Bradley Stoke as they shared a 2-2 draw
with Gloucester City Development whose replies came from Miranda Smith and Beth Smith,
whilst City of Gloucester claimed their first victory in eighteen attempts with a 4-2 success against
Red Falcon Women, who scored through Issey Cannon and Harriet Mason.
One match was played in Division Three, Southmead Community Sport beating Downend
Flyers A 3-0 but they will have to settle for the runners-up spot after Bristol Ladies Union were
confirmed as Champions after being awarded the points from their match.
Greater London League
It was honours even in the virtual title decider in Division One South as Tooting Bec and
Hammersmith battled out a 2-2 draw. Bryony Bancroft and Eleanor White scored the goals for
Tooting Bec whilst Madeleine Hills and Elena Fairley were the markswomen for Hammersmith who
have completed their fixtures and are three points ahead of Tooting but have a vastly superior goal
difference. Tooting will still need to win their final game if they to at least finish runners-up, due to
South London Women rounding off their campaign with a 7-0 victory over South London
Laces. Martha Goddard and Jessica Huntley-Harris each netted twice along with Virginia Somers,
Georgia Oakley and an own goal to give their side a result which leaves them in second place, just one
point behind Hammersmith but Tooting Bec would overhaul them for runners-up by winning their
last match.
The final match of the season was played in Division One North, with the top two meeting each
other, and it was champions Leyton Orient who defeated Brentford B 3-0 to end the campaign
with a ten point lead over their opponents. Liliana Almeida gave Orient a first half lead and they went
on to add further goals after the break through Jordan Feldman and Shanice Taylor-Newsam.
Somerset League
Paulton Rovers Res will play in the League Cup Final after narrowly getting the better of
Woodspring Women on a penalty shootout in
