Welcome to the Big Local Stadium

Greetings everyone and welcome to the Big Local Stadium, in
particular the management and players of today’s visitors
Stonehouse Town F.C. for this Uhlsport Hellenic League First Division
fixture. We should also welcome our Match Officials and hope they
enjoy their stay with us.

Our two home games to end 2023 both ended in 1-1 draws and
although we can be pleased with the efforts against two of the top
sides in the division, a cancellation of our game against Newent
means a haul of two points from the Festive season has kept us
uncomfortably looking over our shoulders at the bottom places and
in need of a change of fortunes which we hope 2024 will bring.
Friday’s game against Shortwood was also cancelled so our New Year
has to be launched this evening.

Today’s visitors Stonehouse Town FC will also be looking for a change
in form in the second half of the season so we can expect another
tough challenge this evening.

I hope you all enjoy the game and I look forward to seeing you here
again next time.
