We would to thank 3 of our longest supporters Mike, Tony
and Dave for sponsoring Nick Smart, our reserve
manager. Each year the 3 of them make a donation to
sponsor someone at the club. This year they chose
Smarty, THANK YOU GUYS.

Saturday we travelled to Welton Rovers reserves, We lost
2-0. Yes it’s a disappointing start to the season in a new
Division particularly when we had a very good pre –
season. Ironically player availability wasn’t a problem
then, now the season starts lots of players are on holiday
or going to festivals. That should settle down and to be
honest I haven’t seen anything in these games that we
cant cope with, so no panicking, it’s a long season.
Perhaps the season starts this Tuesday evening with a
local derby at Yatton & Cleeve, 6.30 KO..
We would all like to pass on our congratulations to
reserve skipper, Lewis Smart and his partner Ellie on
becoming parents for the first time last week, welcome a
new supporter Archie Smart.
It seems a while since I’ve seen you, our next home
game is Saturday sept. 10, KO 3pm.
