Holmes, Brooke Swann and Madison Wilson were the Wednesday scorers.
The leading trio in Division Two all made it two wins from two. Handsworth Development
remain top by virtue of goal difference; Olivia Winstanley (2), Amy Robinson and Sam Woodham were
on the mark in a 4-1 win at Sheffield Utd Community Foundation Res for whom Carly Herrick
scored. Mikayla Harper, Kiveton Park’s all time leading scorer, added another four to her tally with
Sarah Anderson and Sara Tyler also on target at home to Mexborough Athletic whose trio of goals
came from Lydia Rae (2) and Daniella Dench. One name conspicuous by her absence from
Mexborough’s goals this season is their own all time leading scorer Tasha Bell (nee Carlton) as she is
pregnant and due to give birth next year. Worsbrough Bridge Athletic are the third team on six
points. Rachel Norsworthy (2) and Summer Docherty on target in their 3-2 win over Swallownest.
