Thoughts

Welcome today to the Players, Officials and Supporters of Wells City to Stockwood
for a Toolstation Western League Division 1 match. We hope they enjoy their visit.

This is likely (weather permitting) to be our first match for a couple of weeks and
the players and new management have been working hard in training to ensure
that fitness has been maintained. Will has also worked hard to bring some new
players in to strengthen the squad and we welcome all of those new players and
wish them well in their ‘Phones career.

Covid is still prevalent with the Omicron variant causing havoc to normal life. Please
make use of the hand sanitiser that can be found at our entrance and in the main
club. Let’s stay safe and try and finish this season!

Lets hope for a well contested contest and whatever the score, let’s all enjoy the
game and remember to accept the Referee’s judgement whether we agree or not,
as with-out officials we could not play the game…

Come and visit me in the kitchen at half time for hot drinks and hot food and failing
that I hope to have a beer with you all at the end, hopefully with a ‘Phones win to
celebrate!
