               LONGWELL GREEN SPORTS V SHIREHAMPTON



       Welcome to the 3G Arena here at Longwell for today’s game against
       our visitors Shirehampton for what will be their first visit to our Club
       for a competitive game.



       We played Shire in the first game of the season when we gained a
       3-2 victory but since then they have had a good first season in the
       Western League.



       Last week we somehow lost 2-1 at Wincanton but we played some
       great football and created enough chances to score five or six but
       there 17 year old keeper pulled off some brilliant saves.


       Let’s hope today we can find the back of the net like we did when we
       beat Tytherington 4-1 in our last home game.



       Gold Cup tickets are going really well and there are just a few places
       remaining for the big day on the 17  March.
