Introducing Exmouth Town A.F.C.
Goalkeepers
Robbie Powell: A PE schoolteacher by trade Robbie first joined the club in 2015.
Now first choice ‘keeper with over 150 appearances. Not bad at Karaoke either
Chris Wright: Runs his own roofing business and a superb back-up ‘keeper having
had considerable Southern League experience with Tiverton Town.
Andrew Sowden-Bird: A welcome addition to the squad. Made one appearance
last season. A product of Exeter City’s Academy.
Defenders
Josh Cann: Joined the club at the start of the 2021/22 season having previously
played for Yate Town and Paulton Rovers. A member of Exeter City’s Academy Staff
looking to return following a serious knee injury at the start of last season.
Dan Cullen: A product of the Club’s Youth set up having been part of the U18 side
that swept the board completing the Devon U18 Cup and League double in 2019.
Has developed into a no nonsense defender solid in the air with a good turn of
pace.
David Rowe: Club captain and defensive king pin with over 200 appearances for
the club. Can be heard in all corners of the ground, tough tackling with an infamous
left peg.
Tom Gardner: Senior professional. First played for the club as a teenager in 2003
before joining Tiverton Town where he enjoyed considerable success. Has also
played for Truro City. Re-joined the club at the start of the 2019/20 season.
Mike Landricombe: A vastly experienced defender/ defensive midfield player. Led
Plymouth Parkway to the Division One South title in season 2021/22
Midfield
James Richards: Tough tackling, two footed industrious midfielder. An excellent
striker of a football. Made a welcome return to the club midway through last
season.
Callum Shipton: One of Kevin Hill’s first signing when he became manager in
2018. A terrier in midfield and known to have a pop from distance. Well over 150
appearances a former member of the Exeter City Community Trust working in
partnership with Exeter City. Now a school teacher.
Aarron Denny: Another local boy and a fan favourite. Made his debut in 2016 and
now has well over 200 appearances and at the start of this season has 53 goals to
his name. A constant threat in the attacking third of the field.
Mark Lever: Another local boy who joined the club when Kevin Hill was appointed
manager in 2018 having previously been a regular starter for Budleigh Salterton.
Has shown his versatility playing in a number of positions with well over 150
appearances.
Ethan Slater: Another product of the Exeter City academy who joined Town at
seventeen but went to Sidmouth Town to achieve regular first team football. Came
back to the club at the start 2021 season and is a regular in the match day squad.
