A few words from the manager...
“The teams good form continues and a much better away performance from the previous
fixture at gala against a very dangerous Hanham Athletic side.
We started extremely well with two good early goals, I’m very disappointed with the way we
conceded though which is something we had some conversation about at half time. That was
probably the only negative from the game really, it is clear why Hanham’s results are so
inconsistent, they have some extremely good players and on the day if their attack works
teams will find themselves in trouble. I thought our back five with the inclusion of new goal
keeper Tom Bradley have been excellent and dealt with their threat really well.
Our attacking three of Trey, Coops and Fraser were at a different level this game, the best they
have had by far this season.
This Saturday will be a tough test against Bromley who are the best side we have played all
season in my opinion, strong in all areas especially midfield and how they are below us in the
league table baffles me to be honest. We will have to be at our best to try and beat this side
today that’s for sure, I’m certain there will be goals and it will be a good watch and hopefully
we can get the job done!”
