From the Dugout
Here we are at the end of a very frustra ng season for various reasons.
The weather has been atrocious and we have lost to many games because of it. Meaning
this relentless run of 12 games in 20 days.
More frustra ng was our defence of our tle. We were never going to match our massive
winning run of last season but we have put in some disappoin ng performances over the
course of the season and just had to much to do in those last 12 games.
Congratula ons to Por shead who have won the league this year and they deserve it and
we hope we can join them in the top division next season by winning through the plays
offs.
Depending on our last 2 games & other results we can s ll finish 3rd and get a home e in
the semi final on Tuesday. If we stay where we are we will face Radstock away on Tuesday.
The players have given their all over the last 3 weeks but it was a step too far.
There have been some posi ves with a very good group of U18s coming through and not
one of them has looked out of place when they have come in for us.
On to today if Thursday’s result goes for us & other results go our way we s ll have to beat
a hardworking Warminster team to try and nick that 3rd spot.
Thank you to the supporters & all those at the club who work so hard to help out the 1st
team on a weekly basis.
Enjoy the game.
