Good evening and welcome to our first home League fixture of the season.

We should thank Hengrove Athletic FC for the use of their excellent facilities
whilst our own ground at Shellards Road is being converted to 3G.

After a really pleasing start to the season at Wincanton, we were brought
back down to earth by Welton Rovers in a tough encounter last Tuesday.

We then showed great character to bounce back away from home last
Saturday with a 3-0 win at Portishead. The most pleasing part of the

afternoon was seeing 19-year-old Charlie Evans make his Western League
debut, a very mature performance saw him win a thoroughly-deserved Man
of the Match Award.

Hopefully this shows other lads throughout the club that there is a pathway

to the first team.
Tonight will be a very tough test against a well-organised Almondsbury side.
There will some familiar faces in the opposing dug-out as well, as we

welcome back Joe and Steve White.
