We are extremely lucky that two of our previous Managers - Mark Moore and James French
do a lot of work on the pitch and facilities at Saw Mills, along with Tom Boxhall and having
assessed what is needed to upgrade the ground to a Step 4 standard, we have turned our
thoughts as to how we finance the requirements – if there are any rich entrepreneurs
reading this with a bob or two to spare – please make yourself known!

Club stalwart, Craig ‘Spider’ Martin, will continue as First Team Manager, with Mike Palmer
as Joint Manager – Mike joined us last season and hopefully we can build on the vision of
the Club that he put together last season.

Mike has had a varied experience before joining us – he has coached at Gloucester City, had
two years with Green Bay in United States and has also coached at Cheltenham Town, Forest
Green Rovers and Tuffley Rovers (U18’s and Development). He already holds the UEFA B
certificate and is now working towards his UEFA A – so he brought a wealth of knowledge
       to the Club.

On the coaching staff we welcome ‘Buster’ Davies, previously with Stonehouse Town and we
welcome back Kacey Johnstone, who stepped back last season, due to family and work
commitments, but has re-joined us this season.

Tim Hall and Mark Davies, as physios, complete our line up in the dug-out.

A quick mention to a major ‘signing’ this season – we welcomed Calum Newman to the
Club and Calum brings a wealth of experience in administration, as well as being a Level 4
referee and a member of the Stroud and District League Committee. He has already taken
over the reins as our FA, GFA, Hellenic and Northern Senior secretarial roles and – regardless
of any incoming players - I already have him down as our best signing of the season!

As ever, apologies to all those people at the Club who deserve a name-check – especially all
of our volunteers who run the bar at our Social HQ – it isn’t possible to name-check
everyone, but sincere thanks to all of them.

However, I do need to thank those who work behind the scenes at Saw Mills - Ash Baker
(hospitality), Neville Martin (Gate), Sharon and Tara Martin (Refreshment Hut) our Chairman
Mark Cornell, ex-player Paul Walsh as well as Mark Davies, Daryl Long and Lee Martin for
their behind the scenes work and not forgetting Brad Martin and Kacey Johnstone for their
work in bringing in sponsorship money to the Club.

And finally thanks to our programme producer Amy Walker of Glos Booklets who composes
it and Chris Bishop (ex-Chairman) of Perpetua Press whose company does the printing.

       Bill Davis - President
