The County Leagues...
Sheffield & Hallamshire League
County Cup ties and stormy weather reduced the number of games played in the league to
just two, both on 3G pitches. Halima Essa, Hannah Jackson and Freya Wilson were on target
for Sheffield Wednesday Development who were 3-1 winners over Sheffield Utd
Community Foundation Res, whose reply came from Sarah Wilson, in Division Two.
Rotherham United Res made it seven wins from seven as they moved to within
one point of top spot in Division Three. Cheryl Mawhood top scored with half of the goals in
their 8-0 victory against Eckington Belles.
The other four goals were spread around Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire
with singles for Maggie Bristow, Rhianna
